All of us love cheese, it’s yummy, but the question is whether eating it is the right thing? Although cheese offers some health benefits, overall it is bad for health. The kind and quantity of cheeses consumed matters while consuming it.

Here are some facts that affect your health:

High Fat Content

It contains lot of saturated fats that results into weight gain. The body tends to digest it in such a way that it is difficult to lose fat. Moreover, saturated fat affects the cardiovascular system. It significantly increases cholesterol levels, that is bad for a person’s health.

High Salt Content

It has a lot of sodium that is bad for the heart. Regular intake of cheese increases the amount of sodium in the body. Excess sodium causes several health issues such as High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Kidney disease and weak bones.

Too many Calories

It contains too many calories that are difficult to remove while exercising. To fight off the calories gained due to eating cheese, a person may have to exercise twice as much. Calories from fats are not the calories that the body needs.

Leads to Diseases

Eating fat, salt and calories results in weight gain. Overweight people have a higher risk of heart diseases and diabetes. Moreover, it contains large amount of bad cholesterol that invokes multiple diseases.

Is all Cheese not good?
