Each suicide is a disaster that influences families and communities and has enduring effects on the people left behind.

Furthermore, it is the second leading cause of death among 15 to 29-year-old. 78% of worldwide suicides happen in low and middle-income countries.

Ingestion of pesticide, hanging, and firearms are the most common ways of suicides worldwide.
