More than 100 crores Expended for Maintenance of Medical Tools

Based on a report in Z news, according to J P Nadda, there were 756,000 tools in 29,115 government medical institutions in India. However, 4,560 medical tools are not working.

The Union Minister of Health, J P Nadda said the government had spent more than 100 crores for maintenance of 4,560 medical devices that were not working in various public hospitals in the country.

Furthermore, Nadda said that the maintenance was not being done for many medical tools. We had started an initiative under which INR 113 crore had been expended, and all non-working medical instruments in the country`s government hospitals have become working.
