Three lakh Doctors go on Countrywide Demonstration

Based on a report in Pune Mirror, over three lakh members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) branches throughout the country sat on a dawn-to-dusk fast from 6 am to 6 pm to complaint against the increasing instances of offensives on doctors.

Dr. KK Aggarwal, IMA national president, stated that we demand abrupt implementation of the suggestions of the inter-ministerial committee.

Furthermore, the demands of the medical community also include stopping the criminal activities of medical carelessness and clerical errors, capping the reimbursement in Consumer Protection Act (CPA) on doctors.
